We got an error “HTTP 500 : Internal Server Error” during check in process to VSTS (TFS 2010).
After investigation we found that this was because of a time out error while checking in files. The default executiontimeout is set to 3600 sec in TFS web.config on the IIS server where TFS is hosted.
Can anyone suggest if it is OK to change the “executiontimeout “ setting in the web.config file on IIS server ?
